This piece of music was created for the initial boss fight of the game. We drew inspiration from bullet-hell scores and anime soundtracks. This project did not use any audio middleware, so a challenge was to create a piece of music which naturally built over time instead of syncing to the player's actions.

This is a paper-cutout animation made by Emily Rawson which I composed the score for. Golem is the 2019 First Place recipient of Loyola Marymount University's Undergraduate Library Research Award. While the film draws inspiration from German Expressionism, I channeled Soviet Multfilm for my score--designing themes for the characters and emotive moments while focusing on moments of tension and release.
